Hotel De Medici The Hotel De Medici is situated in the heart of the historic city of Bruges, located near the Reie River and in walking distance of many of the cities¿ famous attractions that make it a UNESCO heritage site. De Halve Maan Brewery and the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Beguinage are both a 20-minute walk away. Also close by is the Choco-story museum and shop and Grote Makt. Guests can walk along the cities cobbled streets and along the river and explore the cities sites. The hotel¿s Bar Damme serves snacks and drinks such as cocktails and provides a great place to relax with a Japanese garden. For a fee guests can also enjoy the health centre which has a gym, solarium, sauna, Turkish steam bath and Jacuzzi, as well as offering treatments such as massages, perfect for unwinding. The hotel¿s rooms are comfortable, efficient and homely. All are equipped with en-suite bathroom, tea and coffee making facilities, individually controlled air ¿ conditioning and heating, radio and HD Flat screen TV's with various in-house movies, in - room safe, minibar, hairdryer, direct telephone and wireless internet connection which is free in the lobby but a small supplement made for access in guest rooms. Disabled rooms are also available. For business guests, the hotel offers eight multifunctional meeting rooms which can accommodate up to 140 participants. All are bright and have air conditioning and wireless internet connection, as well as all the equipment required for a successful meeting or conference. The hotel also offers a 24 hour front desk, a laundry service, currency exchange, room service, a vending machine and a gift shop.
