Assenzio Hotel The Assenzio hotel is a beautiful and charming establishment. Situated in the heart of Prague 2 along a lovely cobbled road which leads you straight into Wenceslas Square you couldn¿t ask for a more perfect location. Set in the district of Nove Mesto, one of five historical areas which all form the historical centre of the city. Just 800 metres from the famous Prague 1 home to Prague¿s National Museum and the renowned Wenceslas Square and a short distance from Charles Bridge and Prague Castle. Prague is not only a beautiful city but also a world famous cultural centre there are lots of museums, galleries and music centres. Wenceslas Square is just a short walk away and not to be missed. Steeped in a rich and vibrant history the square has been home to many events and continues to be a traditional setting for demonstrations, celebrations, and other public gatherings. It¿s one of the main City Squares and the centre of business and cultural communities in New Town. The square is named after the patron saint of Bohemia Saint Wenceslas and is a world heritage site. The National Museum has its main entrance on this square. Founded in 1818 the museum houses almost 14 million items from the areas of natural history, history, arts, music, and librarianship all located in many buildings. A great deal of work has been put into collecting new materials over the museums long history. The hotel has 69 rooms spread over five floors and the building is elegant and historic. Architects have preserved its unique façade and it¿s built in typical Prague style. The restaurant resides in the hotels former cellar restored and modernised but still retaining its original patterns.
