Bishops House hotel This is a very charming luxurious hotel, located in Lesser Town in the heart of Prague and only a few steps from Charles Bridge. The history of the house dates back to the Romanesque period and the historic and romantic atmosphere of the building is underlined by period wooden furniture. There is an amazing view form the top floors of Prague Castle and the famous Prague roofs and everything is literally on your doorstep. The house was adapted in 1999 for hotel purposes but still maintains many of its original features offering guests traditional ambience coupled with comfortable mod-cons. You are situated next to Karls Bridge and a very short walk away from Old Town. Make sure you visit the infamous Wenceslas Square steeped in a rich and vibrant history the square has been home to many events and continues to be a traditional setting for demonstrations, celebrations, and other public gatherings. It¿s one of the main City Squares and the centre of business and cultural communities in New Town. The square is named after the patron saint of Bohemia Saint Wenceslas and is a world heritage site. For the learners get to Prague¿s national museum founded in 1818, the museum houses almost 14 million items from the areas of natural history, history, arts, music, and librarianship all located in many buildings. The main building of the museum is located on the upper end of Wenceslas square and was built in 1885. A great deal of work has been put into collecting new materials over the museums long history and this is a landmark you shouldn¿t miss. There are also many famous restaurants serving traditional Czech food.
