The Hotel Donatello is located in old Town, within walking distance of all of Prague¿s wonderful sites and historical monuments. Located between Wenceslas Square and the Charles Bridge and featuring various architectural styles including gothic and baroque. Wenceslas Square is right on the doorstep and not to be missed. Steeped in a rich and vibrant history the square has been home to many events and continues to be a traditional setting for demonstrations, celebrations, and other public gatherings. It¿s one of the main City Squares and the centre of business and cultural communities in New Town. The square is named after the patron saint of Bohemia Saint Wenceslas and is a world heritage site. Prague¿s national Museum can be found on the upper end of Wenceslas Square, founded in 1818, the museum houses almost 14 million items from the areas of natural history, history, arts, music, and librarianship all located in many buildings. A great deal of work has been put into collecting new materials over the museums long history. Prague itself is a wonderful city, it is the capital of and the largest city in the Czech Republic it is the fourteenth largest city in the European Union. Situated in the north west of the country on the Vltava River it is the historical Capital of Bohemia. It is often described as the Golden City as it is so beautiful.
