So Now Axos Is Officially A ''Green Key'' Hotel. ## Additional Information Last but not least and in cooperation with Baja beach bar, there will be 2 to 3 times transfer from Axos hotel to Baja in the morning and from Baja to Axos another 2 to 3 times in the evening. There will be no charge for the transfer, no charge for the sunbeds and the umbrellas and also no entrance fee for Baja beach bar. (Notice that Baja Beach Bar is open from the beginning of June until the end of September). ## Directions Directions from Heraklion airport by car: When you live the airport of Heraklion take the highway (Ethniki odos Rethymnou) to Rethymno with number E75. It is the only one road getting here so you can't miss it. After about 60 km you will see the area Scaleta drive through that and then you will go to Sfakaki area. There you will see a sigh saying Rethymno old road you turn write through there and drive all the way until you find the area 'Platanias. It is about 5 km from where you turn. Axos hotel is located in the center of Platanias on your left side just opposite Marem supermarket. Directions from Chania airport by car: Chania airport is located in Souda village. Drive towards the national road E75 and head to Rethymno town. It is about 50 km drive. Don't turn at the first juction to the town because Axos hotel is situated 6km away. Drive all the way through the national road, pass the town (you will be able to see Rethymno on your left hand side) and finaly turn right where there is a sigh saying “Platanias“.
