SPAIN For church weddings in Spain you do not have to have a civil ceremony in Ireland the religious service covers the legal end of the marriage also. Should you decide on the South of Spain as the area you would like to get married in there is the option to bring your own priest should you wish to. Nerja is one of the most popular areas to get married in. The San Salvador church is in the centre of the town and offers a scenic and romantic venue to start your married life. Some recommended reception venues would be the Hotel del Balcon de Europa, it is within walking distance of the church and offers fabulous views and offers a spectacular backdrop for your wedding photographs. April,May,September or October are the recommended months to get married in the Costadel Sol as it is not as busy or warm.
