Location This city hotel is located in the centre of Prague, directly by the main railway station. Wenceslas Square is just 3 min away on foot (10 min to Old Town Square). Plenty of shops, bars and nightclubs are to be found in the surrounding area. It is approximately 17 km or a 30 min journey to Ruzyne airport. Facilities The hotel was built beside a main road in 1927 and was partially renovated. It offers a total of 74 guestrooms spread over 7 floors. The lobby contains the hotel reception, which is open 24 hours a day, a safe, a currency exchange desk, a cloakroom and a lift. Further facilities include a café with a terrace and a supermarket. The inviting à la carte restaurant has a separate non-smoking area. Business guests may make use of the conference room and the Internet terminal. Car parking facilities are available as are room and laundry services and medical assistance. Rooms Each room is equipped with classical elegant furniture made from precious wood reflecting freshness and style and they were made especially for the hotel. The spacious bathrooms are made of Italian Carrara marble and have a shower or a bathtub. Room amenities include a large flat-screen TV, central air conditioning (adjustable), a fully stocked minibar, an in-room safe, work desk with lamp, telephone with direct call facility, satellite TV and a hairdryer. Each room also has an electronic key-door system, secondary locking device, double opening windows, thermostat (adjustable), electronic smoke detectors and central electricity system. Free use of WLAN Internet access is available in all guest rooms. Sports/Entertainment The hotel offers guests professional massages and a sauna. It is possible to visit the sports facilities on nearby Wenceslas Square. Meals A breakfast buffet is available to hotel guests every morning. At lunchtime and in the evenings, guests may select dishes from an à la carte menu and in the evenings there is also a set menu available to choose from. How to get there By car from the airport: on the E48 first take motorway 7, direction south to Centrum then to the left to Evropska Street (direction east). Guests will see the circle, crossroad, and should turn right. On the first crossroad to the left, turn into Milady Horakove Street (direction east). On the big crossroad (approx. 1.5 km) turn right to Letensky Tunnel (direction south) and over the Hlavkuv Bridge. After the bridge turn left (2 times) and then right. Take the street Nabrezi Ludvika Svobody (direction east), before the tunnel turn right to the motorway Magistrala street E50 (direction south). The main train station is on the left side and on the right side guests will see the hotel. Please turn right to Politickych Veznu Street, go around the block and then the hotel can be seen. By public transport (from the Praha-Ruzyne Airport): take bus number 119 to Dejvicka Station. Change to Green line A of the underground and travel 5 stations to Muzeum Station (Green line A). Then walk 200 m towards the train station. The hotel is located in front of the State Opera House. From the main railway station: travel 200 m by foot from the train station in the direction of Centrum (city centre).
