Welcome to Makis Apartments

The Makis Apartments are located just on the outskirts of Moraitika, next to the main road where you will find supermarkets, shops, bars, cash points, car hire and bus stops to take you to the surrounding areas. Moraitika has a long sand and shingle beach that gently shelves into the Ionian Sea. The Greek mainland lies a few miles across the water and there are splendid views of the hills and mountains along the coastline. Approximately 15 minutes drive away, on the West coast, are the very long sandy beaches of Halicouna and Issos. Just behind Halicouna lies Lake Korisson, a nature reserve, whilst Issos is backed by large sand dunes. To the South of Moraitika lie the fishing villages of Messonghi, Boukari and Petriti with a selection of fine fish tavernas.
