Welcome to Axos Hotel

  The Axos Hotel is a cosy and pleasant apartment hotel, in a beautiful location just 100 m from a magnificent beach in the heart of Platanias, 6 km from the historic town of Rethymno on the island paradise of Crete. Along with a warm, friendly atmosphere and excellent service, this 2 storey white and terra cotta coloured building is built in an L shape that encloses the pool and garden and offers 44 well-appointed studios and apartments with modern amenities. This family run hotel was fully renovated in 2009, and is highly recommended as an alternative for those who want to explore majestic Rethymno and its surroundings but don't want to be confined within the city. Chania Airport is a 65 km from the hotel.   Local Tips: Platanias is a well known seaside village for holidaymakers with restaurants, supermarkets, bars, stores with clothes or souvenirs and with very good bus and taxi transport. FACILITIES:  Food, drink and entertainment: Self Catering accommodation with an option or Bed and Breakfast. The hotel has a restaurant for breakfast and snacks, a bar, a lounge area by the reception with TV and an ice cream shop! The friendly staff present Theme nights with an entertaining program.   Sports, games and activities: Large outdoor swimming pool, childrens pool, sitting area by the pool, scuba diving lessons (with fee), daily walks, bike trekking, quad and buggy safari, massage and spa, yoga (ashtanga, vinyasa). Some activities are with charge. The hotel will provide beach towels for a 10 Euro deposit. So now Axos is officially a 'GREEN KEY' hotel!   In cooperation with Axos hotel and 'Baja' beach bar, there will be 2 to 3 times transfer from Axos hotel to Baja in the morning and from Baja to Axos another 2 to 3 times in the evening. There will be no charge for the transfer, no charge for the sunbeds and the umbrellas and also no entrance fee for Baja beach bar.
