The hotel is in an old Florentine building from the 15th century that has been renovated, offering all modern comforts but keeping many of the original features, such as the lovely vaulted ceilings in the reception area. The owners are a Japanese-Italian couple, who have decorated the interiors with a mixture of Japanese and Florentine items. ## Location The hotel is pleasantly situated on a street full of antique shops in the heart of Florence, close to the central station, museums, monuments, as well as the Congress Centre and Fortezza da Basso Exhibition Centre. ## Rooms The rooms are provided with a private bathroom (with a hairdryer). They feature individually controlled air conditioning, a direct dial telephone, minibar, satellite TV, safe and RJ11 socket for connecting a notebook to the Internet.
