Embassy Hotel Embassy Hotel is found in the centre of Rome just a five minute walk from the famous Via Veneto, the setting for Federico Fellini¿s 1960 film ¿La Dolce Vita¿ and one of the most famous and exclusive streets in Rome. The green and leafy park of Villa Borghese is nearby, the perfect spot for picnics and strolls. Not to be missed is the Borghese Gallery and Museum contained in the grounds. The hotel itself is housed in a late 18th century building and has been run by family since 1956. Embassy Hotel has a 24 hour reception with multilingual staff to help with any queries. There are 42 rooms available all with en-suite bathrooms and modern facilities to make a stay in Rome as enjoyable as possible. An Italian buffet breakfast is available in the morning served in the breakfast room before guests head off for the day touring the city. The nearest metro station Repubblica on Line A is just a few streets away allowing guests to travel easily across the city. Some of Rome¿s top attractions are easily reached within a short walking distance; the Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps can be reached in less than 20 minutes on foot. On the right of the steps next to the Spagna metro station is the famous Keats-Shelley Museum dedicated to the Romantic poets who were enamoured with the Eternal City. The area surrounding the steps is well known for Italian haute-couture fashion, with Via Condotti lined with designer labels and fashion boutiques. Just pass the Trevi Fountain lies the Quirinale Palace, the official residence of the President of the Republic.
