Gloria Palace San Agustin is a lovely 4 star hotel, located in a stunning, quieter area of San Agustin in Gran Canaria. Part of the Gloria Palace hotel group, with Gloria Palace Royal and Gloria Palace Amadores, both of which are very popular and successful, so you know this hotel will also be excellent. Accommodation
DOUBLE ROOMS
The Double rooms have twin beds in the main bedroom, with a sofa bed, so the rooms can accommodate 3 adults. The decor is stylish and airy. The rooms are very well equipped, with air conditioning, telephone, satellite TV, desk and a fridge. The living area has the sofa bed, with a coffee table. There is a lovely balcony, offering views of the pool area. The bathroom is also stylish and comes with the normal bathroom facilities (bathtub/shower, sink etc.)
JUNIOR SUITE
The Junior suites are the most luxurious rooms at the hotel. The interior is fantastic and like the rest of the rooms, is very well equipped. There is a satellite Plasma TV, air conditioning, fridge, telephone, a safe can be hired and WiFi (at a small charge). The bathroom is lovely with a bathtub/shower, 2 hand basins, a mirror and a hairdryer. The balcony offers some lovely sea views, the perfect place to relax and enjoy the stunning scenery. Two of the junior suites have got 4 poster double beds, ideal for honeymoons.
At the Gloria Palace San Agustin, there are numerous facilities on site, for all the guests to use and enjoy. There are 2 excellent outdoor swimming pools, with plenty of sunbeds and parasols surrounding the pools so you can relax and enjoy the famous sunshine. There is also a swimming pool for the children, so they can have a fun time as well.
There are numerous other facilities which the children will love. There is the Kids club, which is all day long, and provides various different activities for the children to do. It also allows the parents a well deserved break! There is a mini disco on at night time. A babysitter can be hired (charges apply.)
Gloria Palace San Agustin has a hugely impressive spa, with numerous facilities perfect to enable you to relax, including a large pool which has various equipment in including seats, and waterjects for various parts of the body. There are a additional 3, small sized pools, which are used for various different activities. There are numerous other facilities including a sauna, turkish bath, numerous cabins with massages, bubble baths, and more available as well as a gym.
MAIN RESTAURANT
As part of the all-inclusive option at the Gloria Palace San Agustin, you can enjoy a lovely large buffet, offering a variety of different cuisines including local, national and international, consisting of hot and cold dishes. The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There are plenty of dishes for the children to choose from as well, so everyone in the family can have a good meal.
RESTAURANT GORBEA
Restaurant Gorbea is named after the highest peak in the Basque Country. In this fantastic restaurant, which is situated on the 9th floor of the hotel, you can enjoy some stunning views of the beach of San Agustin and the Maspalomas Dunes. You can enjoy the very best of Basque cuisine, including plenty of seafood and meat, as well as other Basque dishes. This restaurant isn't part of the all inclusive option, so it has to be booked at the hotel.
There is also a chill out area as part of the restaurant, where you can have a relaxing cocktail and enjoy some lovely views. This is the perfect place to relax, without any distractions and noise.
POOL BAR
The pool bar is situated at the swimming pool. This is open all day and serves a variety of different drinks and various snacks. There is a pool side terrace so you can relax and enjoy the sunshine.
HAVANA BAR
If you wish to organise large events, such as weddings, communions, birthdays etc, then Havana Bar is perfect for you. Situated in a great location, with views of the sea and mountains as a backdrop.
BAR SALON
If you are looking for the ideal bar to finish the night off in style, then Bar Salon is the place for you. It is open every day from 6pm until 01.30am, and there are a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks available. Entertainment including live music and dancing is shown 6 times a week. There is also a sun room, for smokers.
