This hotel is situated in Puerto de la Cruz, just across the promenade from the beach. The city centre is only around 300 m away and San Telmo seawater swimming pool is just a few minutes away. An abundance of shops and entertainment venues are located in the immediate vicinity. Public transport links are to be found only 400 metres from the hotel. The air-conditioned hotel was built in 1964 and completely renovated in 2006. The hotel has an unusual architectural style and comprises a total of 260 rooms on 17 floors. Amongst the famous hotel's facilities count a foyer with a 24-hour reception, a currency exchange and lifts. Additional facilities include various lounges, such as a reading room, a TV room and a games room. In addition, younger guests are offered a children's playground and a kids' club. Furthermore, there is a hairdresser's, a boutique and 3 bars (Lobby bar, Snack bar and Piano bar). There is Internet access, as well as a laundry service and parking facilities. Some services may carry an extra fee. The comfortable rooms come with an en suite bathroom with hairdryer, a balcony, a direct dial telephone, satellite TV, a safe and air conditioning.
