The hotel is located near the south side of the city centre, close to the old town, University of Edinburgh, the Royal College of Surgeons, museums, theatres, pubs, restaurants and shopping facilities. Non-en suite rooms have a wash basin (hot and cold water) in the room, with the toilet and shower/bath outside, sharing with only one other room.
