The Gloria Maris Hotel is situated in the quiet area of Porto Koukla on the bay of Laganas. The bay is a nesting site for the famous Kareta-Kareta turtles. There are boat trips available from this resort to Marathonissi, Keri Caves and of course turtle spotting. Porto Koukla is a wonderful little resort nestled between Aghios Sostis and Keri Lake on the bay of Laganas surrounded by olive groves. This is a very small resort consisting of two hotels and a few self catering units with a very narrow beach and with lovely views of Marathonissi and the bay of Laganas. The main town of Zakynthos is just a few miles away and offers a great opportunity to shop and explore the harbour and narrow streets.
