Unique and fabulous! Unique for its style, fabulous for its history and excellent for its value-for-money accommodation. Oh, and let's not overlook the excellent location - only 10 minutes' walk to the Colosseum and only 3 metro stops to the main railway station Termini; we are proud to concede that rarely have we offered such a hotel. Housed in two wings on either side of the historic San Giovanni Laterano Basilica, the Domus Sessoriana offers extremely spacious accommodation and grand corridors dating from the time when these rooms were used by Cistercian monks. Within the grounds guests can marvel at the ruins of a Roman amphitheatre, which is now the setting for vegetable garden, and enjoy the serenity of not only the hotel's interior but also it's exterior. Guestrooms offer modern amenities whilst retaining much or their original character. All are elegantly furnished with handcrafted furniture and each room provides bathrooms with shower and hair dryer, air conditioning, satellite TV, telephone, internet connection, mini-bar and personal safety box (several spacious rooms are also available for handicapped guests).
