Set in the highest part of the resort on the peak of a lush green hill, the Il Borgo bungalows offer magnificent, panoramic views of the Mediterranean. Each of the spacious Il Borgo bungalows includes an elegant lounge as well as a patio or balcony. Some can be shared with adjoining bungalows, either internally or via the balcony. Surrounded by light and wide-open Sardinian nature, the bungalows are ideal places for large families. Our Children??s City is nearby, along with the freshwater Oasis pool and the seawater Baia delle Palme pool with its fun slides. The accommodation is available in a choice of Superior Bungalow and Deluxe Bungalow. All feature a bathroom with shower (some have a bathtub), air conditioning, telephone, LCD TV, minibar and safe. Il Borgo guests begin their day with breakfast at the Terrazza Oasis or at the waterfront Bellavista restaurant. As part of their half-board arrangement, they can dine without a reservation at La Pineta, Bellavista and Torre Grill. Restaurants and bars: FORTE GOURMET: Famed for his reinterpretation of traditional Italian cuisine, Michelin-starred chef Rocco Lannone from Naples puts his own talented, creative slant on the menu at the Forte Gourmet Restaurant. The restaurant is set in a splendid location with a view over the elegant Oasis swimming pool. CANTINA DEL FORTE: A sophisticated and intimate setting with more than eight thousand bottles of the most important wines from Italy and around the world. The restaurant plays host to the Night of the Great Chefs, where Michelin-starred chefs get together with great wine experts to match exceptional wines to their dishes, creating an unforgettable gastronomic experience. CAVALIERI: Set beneath the stars amid a scented pine grove, this elegant buffet restaurant serves Italian and International dishes prepared with skill and passion. Every day the buffet offers lots of new dishes to enjoy with pleasant music playing in the background. LE DUNE: Surrounded by the beautiful beach and with the whisper of the sea in the air, Le Dune offers a wonderful à la carte seafood menu to choose from. BELVEDERE: The most exclusive dishes from Sardinian and Italian cuisine served in a highly imaginative à la carte menu on an enchanting terrace. LA LOCANDA: The chef Giancarlo Perbellini serves up his intriguing take on traditional Italian dishes, combining traditional trattoria-style cuisine with the creative inspiration of a gourmet restaurant. CAVIAR BAR: This small intimate restaurant provides sophisticated seclusion in front of the sea: the Caviar Bar serves fresh raw fish and an irresistible selection of caviar. Leisureland: In the Free State of Leisureland there are basically only two rules: have fun and don’t stop! Leisureland is a secret, fun place, open only to people who like their adventure exciting and their music loud. A place where young people make the rules, on the dancefloors, in the bowling alley, on the go-kart track, on the free-climbing walls, on the trampolines and at the video game stations. The fun and excitement never end! BOWLING Choose your lane, pick your favourite song on the jukebox, take your bowling bowl and knock down those pins. July and August in the morning and from five in the afternoon to two at night, and in May, June and September in the afternoon and evening. DISCO DJs and bands that play non-stop, with everyone dancing and having fun, it’s a great way to meet new people. At night the disco is the place to be. GO KART TRACK Take your place on the grid, put your foot down on the accelerator and you’re off, racing along the half-kilometre track. Watch out for the bends, just one more lap and you could be celebrating first place on the podium with some champagne. THALASSO & SPA The Thalasso Del Forte spa, with its thalassotherapy centre and an exclusive package of spa treatments, is one of the few very special Leading Spas of the World. The Italian school of thalassotherapy was founded at this centre. The Forte thalassotherapy treatment is based on the combined action of factors like the sun, pleasantly warm temperatures, seawater, and marine mud activated by the sun and by magnesium salt.
