The hotel is found on the edge of the historical town of Taormina, which is easily accessed from the nearby cable car station. The ride to the town is a phenomenal one, where you can enjoy views across the ocean and over the hillsides. Below the hotel sits the charming sandy bay, which can be reached via a short downhill walk. Sun beds and umbrellas are available for hire, and you can try activities such as scuba diving and snorkeling on this beautifully rugged section of the coast. The hotel is perched on different levels of the cliff face, with two roof gardens and sun terraces providing superb views across the area. Guests are welcome to use the outdoor swimming pool at the Hotel Ipanema, which is found around 150 metres away. This pool is found next to a terrace, which has sun beds and umbrellas that are available for guests to use. Guests can also make use of the private beach with loungers and parasols to hire for a day in spent in the sun. Breakfast is served in the Villa Bianca restaurant, and other meals are offered in the Principe restaurant.
