Welcome to Ca'Marinella

Ca'Marinella With its quiet location in a typical Venetian square, this historic hotel enjoys close proximity to the 16th-century Giovanni Crisostomo Theatre, today the Malibran Theatre, home to an important season of chamber music. The centre of Venice is just a 10-minute walk from the hotel, which occupies the spot where Marco Polo's house was once located. It is just a 5-minute walk from the Rialto Bridge with its quaint fish market, and the Church of Saints John and Paul, where the Doges were crowned and buried, and which ranks among the finest examples of Venetian Gothic architecture. In the immediate vicinity, guests can also admire the Church of Santa Maria dei Miracoli, a veritable jewel of the renaissance, lined throughout with polychromatic marble. Visitors are advised to allow themselves the time to immerse themselves fully in the monumental splendour of Saint Mark's Square. Formerly an ancient convent, the hotel was originally built in 1500 and was renovated in 2005. It occupies 2 buildings and comprises a total of 53 guest rooms. Its interior is the epitome of elegance, and dark wood-panelled walls, the work of skilled craftsmen, provide a classical backdrop for the hotel's warm and intimate atmosphere. Facilities and amenities on offer include air conditioning, a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out service, the ideal place to read and relax, a hotel safe and convenient lift access. Guests can additionally make use of the on-site café, bar, casino and restaurant. Internet access and a laundry service also feature (both subject to fees).
