The décor is that of the 1920s. The grey marbled bathrooms are large and in exceptional condition. Rooms offer wonderful views over La Baixa, Alfama and the Castle. ## Restaurant The restaurant serves breakfast only and is very small, seating a maximum of 15 guests. However the hotel does provide a back-up room in the peak season. The restaurant is situated on the first floor. ## Exterior This is a small, traditional building with a narrow entrance. The facade is pale yellow and white, with balconies and plaster decorations. The overall appearance is typical of the beginning of the twentieth century. ## Lobby The small reception area has décor that recreates the refined and cosy atmosphere of the twenties. There is a bar and sitting room on the first floor.
