It is a truly beautiful location and the landscape is unusual and almost primitive in its appearance. As the hotel is located virtually in the middle of the island, everything is within reasonable travelling distance. To the north is the capital, Santa Cruz de Tenerife founded by colonist who left a baroque influence La Laguna is a town of beautiful churches dating back to the 16th and 17th centuries. ## Distance 45 kms to city centre 60 kms to the nearest airport (tenerife north airport) ## Rooms The rooms are decorated in quite a spartan way but they are comfortable. They are furnished with rustic Castillian pieces of furniture and wooden balconies overlooking the sea. ## Restaurant Overlooking the sea, the room features a typical winepress in the centre. The chef offers typical Canary dishes which can be accompanied by wines of the area. ## Exterior It is the only building within the El Teide National Park, its interior recreates the ambience of a mountain lodge both in the common rooms and bedrooms. ## Lobby The lobby area is medium in size and welcoming. On the ground floor colonial features are represented and the lobby bar has a nice fountain.
